Climate & Temperature

The months between March and October are particularly recommended for an unforgettable sailing holiday in Croatia, for beginners the period from July to August. During this period you can expect countless hours of sunshine and little rainfall. Even if it can sometimes get very hot with temperatures of up to 40 °C, average temperatures of 25 to 30 °C usually prevail during the day.
The wind conditions in particular are comparatively stable in summer. The Mistral – also known as the fair-weather wind – blows from the north-west of the Adriatic Sea and is perfect for sailing. In the evenings, the wind usually calms down so that you can anchor overnight without any problems.
